At FRA nothing further has come to hand. The minesweeper, that were placed at disposal by the navy, may not go as far east as desired, due to the risk of mines. It is therefore doubtful if a positive result can be achieved. Neither may the minesweeper go near Penem&uuml;nde.

Apart from the B3 aircraft that was placed at the disposal of FRA (FOA) for a longer period of time, FRA (FOA) will need another B3 aircraft for a longer period of time. If possible, an aircraft will be placed at disposal, and investigation will be made by Fld Nor&eacute;n.

Professor Ljunggren handed over &quot;Preliminary report no. 2&quot; regarding investigations made at FOA on picked-up material during the time Aug. 9 to Sept. 20. Since the investigations started, a total of 27 samples have come in. It has been made clear that 25 of those cannot have belonged to any projectile. Of the remaining 2, one is the metal washers found in Sala, which probably are so-called valve conductors for electrical purposes. This is being further investigated by FOA. The other one is the metal ring found in the vicinity of &Aring;nge, which after analysis has been found to consist of almost pure cast zinc, which nowadays is hardlyused in Sweden. An investigation will be made at the place of finding by Fli Malmberg.

No observations that can be attributed to projectiles have been made by ER radar during the Air force exercise. At present, no ER radar stations are deployed [?], and due to exchange of personnel it is not possible to keep them running now.

The KMF ER radio station at M&auml;llsten is not yet installed. When it is ready, test measurements and training of the personnel against aircrafts will be necessary. KMF shall notify FF of the time, after which FF will arrange necessary flights.
